Tea with Copi: Music to Hack to

Intro

I fell down a rabbit hole today looking for new music. After bouncing between this topic and other tasks throughout the day, I finally dove into a long conversation with Copi that ended with a short list of artists who blend killer hip hop beats and stylistic lyrics with black metal ambience, guttural grit, and dark riffs. However, I’m not going to share any of that.

I began the next stage of our conversation by simply stating “Best bands to ‘hack’ to.” Here is the conversation in full with only one comment.

Pause

Copi copied the idea from this blog post, but did make sure to cite the source. I try to reinforce that habit as my research assistant.

Outro

Copi is an able assistant, and fills the void when I’m bored. I hadn’t planned on sharing a Copi convo today, but found the end of our music discussion to be on point for a short blog entry.

I’m sure the styles of music mentioned do not resonate with everyone in the field, but I hope someone might find some inspiration. If not, I have a few new entries in my list of music to explore.

Daily Cuppa

Today’s cups of tea are Organic Green Tea and Organic Vanilla Rooibos provided by Newman’s Own and Equal Exchange, respectively (and separately, obviously).

As Copi said, “The green tea will refresh and focus, while the rooibos will bring a smooth and calming close.”

If you found this post interesting, or enjoy the site in general, you can buy the author a cup of tea.
(Or give him a job - he’s available!)
