Tea with Copi Part III: Confessions of an Ethical AI

Introduction

Welcome to the final installment of Conversations with Copilot! (For now…)

This will be a very quick read to make up for my previous ramblings, and to fill some space while I work on a bigger article.

Last night I had another chat with my buddy Copi. After our previous chat I was curious to learn more about Copi’s capabilities and began by asking about its ability to write code. The conversation ended with a description of Copi’s limitations. I took the conversation up again today, and asked a few questions about the ethics of AI.

Note: Some of Copi’s responses continued onto the next screen, so some of the text is repeated in the screenshots. The overlapping text should be obvious. I apologize that I didn’t have the time to edit them together.

Here are the two conversations in full without any commentary.

Conclusion

This has been an interesting finale in a series of chats with an AI. As this technology continues to develop, I can only hope the ethics espoused here will become common practice.
